The St. Croix Falls Farmer's Market is currently looking for vendors for the 2011 season. The market will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays, May 1 through Oct. 30 in the new library parking area at 230 Washington Street.  For an application, please contact Sloan Stanze at 715-210-8489 or email at stcroixfallsfarmersmarket@yahoo.com   They are compiling a list of community events, are looking for a few volunteers and are considering starting a "Friends of the Market" group.  Taylors Falls area farmers and producers are especially encouraged to spread the word and participate.

The Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley offers parent education services to any families with children from birth to age six in western Wisconsin’s Pierce, St.Croix, and Polk Counties. Programs include hospital and home visits, screenings, play and learn groups, “Baby and Me” classes, parent education, resource networks, and a teen parent program.
