WELCOME TO THE ST. CROIX FALLS PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Dear Parents and Guardians:
What a difference a year makes! Last year’s graduates are off to new and exciting challenges, and the 2025 graduates will be starting school this fall as 4K students. Those years in school literally fly by. My youngest daughter just graduated this last spring, and it seems like only a short while ago when she entered kindergarten.

As I do every year, I invite all parents to join the dedicated staff of the St. Croix Falls School District as partners in the important work of educating their children and preparing them for their futures. Children learn best when we work in partnership to best meet the needs of all students and when there is strong collaboration, trust, and open communication between the home, the school, and the community.

The importance of a parent’s role in their child’s education should never be taken for granted. Your involvement, your day-to-day guidance, your nurturing and follow-up of what your child is learning while at school, and your enthusiasm and support for learning are instrumental in the overall education of your child. Parents indeed make a major difference!

With the passing of the 2011–2013 state budget, many changes have been handed down to school boards and school communities; however, change is nothing new to public education in Wisconsin. While many tough decisions will have to be made; I am confident that we can continue to move forward and provide every student with the quality educational opportunities they will need to be successful in their chosen career field.

As the new school year begins, I hope that every parent/guardian feels welcome in our schools and takes advantage of the many opportunities to become involved. To learn more about our schools and the many things happening in the school district, please access our website, www.scf.k12.wi.us, stop in, or call me at 715-483-2507 ext. 1401.

Thank you for all you do! Together we can make a difference.

Sincerely,
Glenn R. Martin
