The St. Croix Falls School District is currently accepting applications for a Special Education Paraprofessional for the St. Croix Falls Elementary School.
This is a full-time position (7:45-3:30), on student attendance days. This person will provide support to teachers as well as 1:1 support to special needs students. Duties may also include supervision of students on the playground and in the lunchroom.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- a love of children and a desire to help them
- strong communication skills
- ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize skills
- ability to work independently
- demonstrated reliability in previous positions
- physical ability to monitor and provide physical assistance to children
Successful applicants are required to have or be able to obtain a special education aide licensure (#883) through the Department of Public Instruction as a contingency of employment. Applicants must also be able to pass a background check.
